Blizzard locked my account through their own fault

My phone number changed two years ago.
I tried to change it, but it was in vain, because they send a confirmation text to the old number. Which is no longer live.
I asked support for help two years ago.
They wrote: The Overwatch 2 team has made the decision to remove phone number requirements for a majority of existing Overwatch players. Any Overwatch player with a connected Battle.net account, which includes all players who have played since June 9, 2021, will not have to provide a phone number to play.
So they didn’t help me change the phone number.

I have now been asked to confirm my account with a phone number. Since they are texting me to the old number, of course I can’t confirm it. So they locked my account.
So I have been penalised for their mistake.

The mistake was getting rid of your old number.

well, you can contact support and write your original number that was attached to that account. SO they can confirm it is your account. Just keep contacting until human will respond.

Unless you “forgot” your old mobile number. :slight_smile: then we all know what is this situation.
