for real i have lost over 600 sr becuz of boosters and smurfs. when will they get banned. i have posted videos online of them but there is still nothing done to these boosters. in one of my vids could you see how a silver widow got solo teamkills over and over only headshots. the fun part was that his mates where he was teaming with where just emoting. they had gone from bronze/silver to high gold/plat. when will these kind of players be banned. its making the game unfun.

Blizzard as a company is not an omniscient entity, they need to actually detect/be reported about behavior that goes against the ToS or CoC.
This however doesnât mean that every report that you make will make blizzardâs system ban a player, a player needs a lot of reports (most likely 50+) to get an automatic ban.
Even then something like smurfing is not something than one can be banned for. Boosting however while bannable is not something that can be fit in the criteria that you can report someone for that being griefing, poor teamwork, spam, cheating or inactivity
They make them money. Blizzard will never ban someone for making them money unless they bring huge negative press on them.
Whenever you finde legit proof of boosting.
And for smurfs, They are ok, unless they trow games to keep a low rank.
itâs no like they donât care. the amount of money they make by a few thousands at the top creating a Smurf⌠I donât think itâs that much. they have sales primarily to bring in new players probably.

Have to disagree with you in that I do not believe you have lost over 600 sr due to boosters and smurf. Itâs statistically unlikely for you to have had a booster and/or smurf (or several) in each and every game during your decline. I just donât buy it.

Neither in comp neither in quickplay. Play onnly on one account and stop ruining this great game.
I donât know man, just looking at your level, you need to be playing at least close to the levels of a GM player just from experience.
Smurfs in QP? Yeah donât think so QP uses hidden QP MMR & your location to match you with people. Smurfing isnât so big at QP if it even is a thing. Maybe at the 1st 10 levels before your MMR find your place.
If someone beats you, you donât have a lot of ways to proof that his a smurf. Even if he was, its not against the code of conduct to hold more then 1 account.
And at this point so many people own more then one account, itâll be kinda âimpossibleâ to punish/ban them since lawsuits will follow on top of players just stopping the game on top of the fact that no one can find legit proof of them smurfing meaning that if such things happens to be a report option people will just abuse it for the most of it. If you can find a legit smurf please share your ways. So far what people say is âone game i had this rly bad player on my team, next game when i faced him he destroyed usâ so is this luck, skill or a & losing on purpose to keep a low rank?
And as of ways to âpreventâ smurfs they are no such ways, everything iâv seen on such topic can be bypassed by looking up a youtube video or it will punish net cafes and family members.

Ok first I apologize for the way I reacted, was just a comment said after a game against Domfist and Brigitte together (I donât think I have to explain in wich mood I was).
Second I try to explain my reasons and how someone can recognize that another person is a smurf and not just ââa good playerââ.
-yes smurfs are even on qp, you donât know how much I met just to ''look down at other players that are in a lower rank (I was a high plat-high gold)
this ââhidden mmrââ stuff now is only getting boring, I mean ok I am high level but doesnât mean I am a overwatch pro or god, I am that level because I mostly play qp since season 1 and I donât play on other accounts, so if I am high level doesnât mean I have to be matched against a high diamond or a master in qp.

On one thing I agree with you⌠sadly there is no way to deal with smurfs, because as you say if you for example ban an ip you punish for example families that maybe have a ow account for each family member.
Is it only me that waches tutorial youtube movies? In all of them they say dash up first to get a good overview. I even watched like 1 hour ago a doomfist coaching from jayne. That gave me a few tips on a hero i almost never played. Will try him out tonight.
Also playing first on a game console making the switch, is also smurfing?
The only thing bad about having multiple accounts if when you derank on purpose, or use it to troll or something.
Playing good on a low level account is not bad since it will put the account to play against players of the same rank.
I even think that players who played for ages on one account will get hard stuck to one rank. Since i believe the system will take all matches(average) to determine your bonus/penalty SR. And it doesnât take only the matches of last/this season. So players who should be a rank higher are stuck in lower tiers because they play only one account. And that is the reason you get to play against better players that should be a rank higher from time to time.
Next to people will flex . I have more then 200 hours on pharah. And my pharah rank/skill is much higher then the rank i am. The system will use all heroes/roles to determine your skill. Even if you are only good at one. One trick a hero that often get hard countered , so you still have to swap to a hero that you bad on. And you get a low rank. And if you are able to play your main people will say you are a smurf.
Kinda off-topic, but I still donât understand getting multiple accounts to the same game.
Of course I rationally understand why people do it (not being pleased or worrying about your stats, streamers, bans &c), but I find the custom so alien it still weirds me out 
There are 4-8 smurfs in every other qp so YES its its HUGE problemâŚ
Had a game yesterday vs 4 smurfs, the diamond one was destroying everybody so his real SR is probably around GM. The difference in enjoyment between games where everyone is close to my level and the ones where every second guy is level 30 is massive.

On the other hand i have to say that you need to give opportunity to smurfs to grind faster
6 people in my current match are under level 50, 4 on the enemy team and 2 on mine, some how they are masters with genji, widow and ana.
Next match, 7 players in the match are level under lvl 20, tracer on lvl 18 pretty much solos the whole 2 rounds of the cp match.
2 matches later, 5 players lower than lvl 35. . .with match match making unable to find a 6th team mate for the whole of Lunar.
Next match, the whole enemy team is lvl 50 or less. . .not even fun, atl f4 at that point, match quality down the crapper.
Never used to be this bad, was very rare to see !low level! players, you might get a single player who was like lvl 20 in your match once every 20 matches.
