Yes, her focusing beam was originally meant for the concept hero Recluse for project Titan. They did test it when they were developing Echo and had the beam come out of her mouth.
She was also supposed to be a character in the cancelled MMO Titan named Iris and her concept was pretty similar to what it is today, with the biggest difference being that she could transform her arms into weapons that had particle beams, with her kit having speed boost and shield. Kind of like a dps/support hybrid.
Juno’s speed boost ring and Syms original shield actually came from the concept abilities for Iris/Echo if memory serves me right.
Well, chances are slim to none, unless they manage to design her in a way that actually works.
They did try the mouth beam on both her and Iris (Echo) but it didn’t work due to the game being 1st person and not 3rd person.
In a 3rd person environment it would work far better, though.
In a 1st person shooter, all you’d see would be a bright beam filling up the entire screen.
Besides that, the character itself is two times the size of Dva’s mech. So they’d have to downscale her as well.
Could probably redesign her into an omnic spidermech the same size as Dva’s mech, perhaps featuring an omnic or human pilot.
