That is very true. The fact that there are so many russians who either dont even want the war and who are fully innocent does mean that its not russia who causes this. It would be dumb to change Zarya to Ukranian. But I guess Blizzard knows what theyre doing

Yep. All they need to do is remove that Z from one skin (as that’s slowly becoming their swastika), and consider dropping a couple of voice lines (but I’m not sure they warrant removing myself).

When I read these kind of topics I always wonder why these days people always look for the next thing to be upset, insulted or feeling discriminated about. Just accept that OW is just a game in it’s own little alternate universe/future and while it has many connections to real life, it still doesn’t represent it.
There is no need to change the game everytime something happens irl. It doesn’t help the game and it doesn’t help the people irl either.

Russian is a national-ethnicity not a race. Also if every nation’s ppl were to be “cancelled” due to the ills their govt. or dictator perpetrated everyone would be cancelled. There’s nothing wrong with being Russian, there is something wrong with Russia’s leadership though.
