Blizzard support Being top Tier

I have never been so disappointed in blizzard.
I have been a blizzard player for the past 15 years, of which i have played WoW and overwatch, i have had my account since the very beginning.

2 months ago i was playing overwatch like a normal night, i solo played in a rank match when halfway trough the match my account gets banned.

Its strange, i don’t talk in chat or in voice (I was vibing to music) and i am not doing anything i am not supposed to. Had my account for 15 years never got banned never got anything, so this was new to me.

I’m Sure this is a mistake, lets see what blizzard has to say. (yet i forgot that my account is linked to a old e-mail which i can not access, Yes I know this one is on me :sweat_smile:).

I changed my account to the right e-mail and Taught lets make a ticket to ask if they can resend the e-mail quick and easy (boy oh boy was i wrong)

The first ticket is a auto generated message, no big issue i understand people are busy lets make a new ticket.
The second ticket i get a real person but is saying the same thing about violating the code of conduct and even threatening me that if i send another request my ban gets worse.

The only thing i asked was if the e-mail could be resend so i can have a look.

Till this day i have not received my account back and no clear explanation why i got banned.

I am so very disappointed in you blizzard, i tried to understand, i tried to be polite, i try to just get my account back. But you and all you admins just refuse.

It is so very sad to see such a great game maker fall so deep, and i am ashamed i have spend so much time with you.

And you wonder why no one wants to play your games anymore, if this is how you treat your players, your paying customers (maybe this will get your attention since we only want to see dollars nowadays) i don’t find it weird.

Sorry I know its a long story but this has been sitting with me for a long time and i need to let it go.

Thank you blizzard for all the years of fun, but you lost me i am done and i will keep sending this message to everyone that wants to hear it.

Support got merge with various Microsoft teams and outsourced.

There’s only a small team at blizzard now. If you keep appealing, eventually you can get through.

Also, if you’re in the EU. Use the GDPR rules to your advantage and make a written request for all information they hold in you including chat logs and ban reasons. Legally they’ll have to provide it.

Yes this is what i am currently trying, i have already used the GDPR rules but sadly no proper response :frowning:

I think they have about 30 days to respond to requests, if done correctly… so might just take some time.

Someone I know did it on an old CoD account that got banned years ago, they never told him why. When he requested it, suddenly the account went live again…

Think it was banned for about 4-5 years.

Oh that is interesting, i just get the reply that they can not give any information other than the e-mail. Will keep on trying then sigh… Thanks tho for the advice and response!
