This account is banned on overwatch. The problem I have with that is the fact that they didnt tell me why I was banned in the e-mail. I know that I have been reported for cheating, and the ban could be due to many reports, but the fact is is that I do not cheat. I would have thought that they should actually find cheating software, or check my gameplay for anything inhuman, but clearly not. I tried to make a ticket, yet I got a lazy automated robot response saying a gamemaster reviewed evidence and my ban was deserved, and that they dont want me to respond. They closed the ticket and i cant seem to re open it. Again, they “found evidence” for my ban, yet dont give me a reason why they banned me in the first place. I cant think what evidence they found anyway. There never has been and never will be cheating software on my computer, or cheats used on my account. I am not toxic in chat, it is not a smurf account and i have never thrown on it deliberately, and even if they did “find evidence”, they cant even say what the evidence is for. Sorry for a rant and if there are spelling/grammar errors. I want to post this so maybe a real human at blizzard will acknowledge my issue, and unban my account!

I’ve had similar issues to this with a friend of mine just recently. They attest to their innocence, and I know for a fact they are not someone who would behave in ways that compromise competitive integrity such as using illegal software hacks. They were turned down with appeals and given a rather… “finalized” verdict despite there simply not being any truth behind the manner. Don’t know quite how it ended up for them, but it was really a haze and it’s disappointing to see this happening more.
Sadly it happens to many other people that I know too, even some well known players alt accounts are just being banned for no reason. Iirc it happened with hauntr quite recently
Sadly your only hope are the support tickets.
Don’t send an appeal and maybe not even any of the ready topics either, that way your ticket will actually get read.
Just focus on asking for information and not appealing since they will see if the ban was deserved or not. I understand wanting to know the reason behind the desicion and they should too.
The punishment System doesn’t work that way. By now you should read already Tearm of Use, if that one was missing, then you could say this sentence.
That is not a lazy robot response .that means that they reviewed it and found that you have broken the terms and deserve punishment . Maybe stop cheating and you will not get ban in your next game that you will play . Ciao
Did you have any third party software installed at all? Blizzard are terrible with communication. I hope you get the ban uplifted.

i play on multiple accounts regularly and no other one was banned for cheating, at all. Furthermore, many well known players have had the exact same thing happen to them, necros and hauntr to name a couple, this is not just finding one person cheating. Another streamer made an account on stream and made a custom game where all he did was spectate and get whoever joined to report him for cheatng, he did soon get banned and was given the same email as me. These people did not cheat, and neither do I. Also, i hope to be on path to pro someday, so why would I cheat and ruin my reputation? My final argument is that if i was banned because they DETECTED cheating, then it would say on the ban email that I was banned for cheating, yet it didnt give a reason. Please stop being so ignorant and assuming in future
