Blood Toggle in Settings

Hello! I have some feedback for any Blizzard employees reading the forums regarding an idea I had for a new setting.

Although it is a minor issue, I would really appreciate an option in the settings to disable blood effects. While these effects do not significantly impact my enjoyment of the game, I personally find them unpleasant and would like a way to remove them. Other games like Monster Hunter and Warframe have the option to turn off blood effects, and adding such an option to Overwatch 2 would allow players to better customize their experience. This option would also make Overwatch 2 more accessible for people that feel uncomfortable playing games with blood in them. I know the development team has much bigger issues on their mind, but this setting would be easy to implement and I would really appreciate it if you considered my idea. Thank you for your time!

I don’t recall seeing a single splatter of blood in ow. If compared to most fps games what little there might be in ow is very little compared to the “no gore” setting on most games.

Blood ? I havent seen single drop of blood in game and i play on 4k .

There’s a microscopic splatter on the character model when you shoot them and until I saw this thread I forgot it even existed because yeah, its literally so small most people will never even notice it.
