Ok this isn’t a complaint or anything about the ability but more of an observation.
When 2 Brigitte’s shield bash each other why does one get stunned and the other not? When 2 McCrees flash bang each other they both get stunned.
Surely it should act more like Reinhardt’s charge - ie either both Brigitte’s get stunned or both get knocked down or something? I really don’t understand how it’s decided which Brigitte gets stunned because it just seems to be random - i have clearly pressed it after the other person before and still stunned them.
I just think it should be more like the Reinhardt vs Reinhardt charge…
Plus for the sake of a team fight it basically neutralises both Brigitte’s (like with Reinhardt) which seems a much fairer way - it gives some counter play too which isnt exactly a bad thing
One must always hit first, right? First gets stunned. Mcrees can throw a flash while the other is throwing a flash, and since they have travel time, both will hit.
The Shield Bash has some weird interactions with other CC. I’m guessing it’s an implementation question that might be complicated to address.
Yes but with a Reinhardt charge or 2 Doomfists one will always trigger the action first. The McCree example is probably a bad one, but the shield bash is force, like with Doomfists punch or Reinhardt’s charge.
Technically they both hit at the same time, as long as both are performing the action.
Maybe just my opinion but i think it should be amended to act the same as DF or Reinhardt in the same situation, or even if it stunned both Brigitte’s.
From my own experience it just seems to be pretty random which one gets stunned, it may be down to latency etc but I have clearly started the action after someone and stunned them before, and clearly pressed it before them but been stunned.
