Blizzard should bring back overwatch 1, they could even charge people for the game again and just let the game have the same events over and over again, no new skins needed, just overwatch 1, and reset everyone’s overwatch 1 account so that we could have the experience of unlocking skins and other cosmetics back, if anything they don’t need to connect it to overwatch 2, it can be overwatch 1 exclusive skins, and if they do that a lot of people will buy the game, and if people buy the game they get money. Just watch toko’s video for example and see that there is literally no reason for overwatch 1 to not coexist with overwatch 2.

In theory as long as ow1 is in no way connected to ow2 and enough people keep buying it to justify the upkeep of ow1 servers, in theory it could work.
But there will always be small bugs and loopholes to patch out and people will start complaining about balance sooner or later again.

It will be upto the execs on high chairs if it will happen or won’t, but in theory it is plausible.
I miss some of the synergy in it. Mystery heroes at least was more enjoyable in ow1.
I’ve said it many times before: OW1 is like WoW Classic. People want it… people will play it… 100% certain.

Exactly just go watch people’s reaction when WOW Classic was announced, even to this day I know a lot of people who still enjoy and play WOW classic on a daily basis, so I don’t know why can’t they do it for OW.

Why do people always bring up skins? I don’t care about cosmetics! I would be happy to play Overwatch 1 with default skins and without ability to unlock new ones. Just let me play OW1! I want the game with old skills, not overbuffed tanks and not gimped dps. With CC. I want a fun arcade experience, not double/triple tank mirror matches every game.
Same here, its a first person class based shooter not some collection game like pokemon. Why care about cosmetics you cant even see yourself
Yep bring it back. So much better than OW2.
Blizzard, the only company who can release what is essentially the same game, but with way less features - and Loads of bugs.
