Brig needs her stun back, sorry but it’s true.
- More survivability against dive comps for you AND your other support,
- more option for counter play for supports against said dive without having to just pick Koriko, Moira, Lucio to run away,
- and, most importantly, makes Brig fun to play again by adding back some form of play potential.
Her healing output is fine. Her survivability is bottom three and for a brawl support that’s weak. Ana gets to keep her CC and have it buffed to cope with dive btw - favouritism and all that. She gets to keep her CC that is a 9/10 chance of a kill if landed against dive.
The lack of play potential is the worse part in my eyes. When Moira wraiths in and ults you I find the best thing to do is stop moving and die quicker for the faster respawn. Oh you perfectly read the enemies play and try to cancel an ult? Nope! they still get it off and you die for audacity of trying. Like seriously she’s so boring to play. Worse than Orisa OW1. The bash feels so weak and half the time just puts you out of position anyway.
Brig alleviated some of the frustration of supports playing against hard dive comps and is needed now more than ever but her current state is a joke.

Brigs fine, the meta doesn’t suit her right now that’s all.
She is useful into Doom though, so maybe she’ll get a little shine now.
Yeah i do feel she needs her stun. Right now it just feels like brigg is missing something. Whenever i encounter a brigg it just feels like a free kill since her shield breaks so quickly and her healing doesnt seem to be that strong compared to other healers. Her damage seems to be okay but her short range doesnt help things. Even with her dash its just easy to get away from her.
If she doesnt get her stun back then she probably should get some buffs to either her damage, healing or shield

Her ability to whip shot people away is her CC. She needs to be in a close brawling comp to be effective. If that isn’t your comp, of course she seems weak. She literally needs to be doing damage
You play her to protect the other support. That’s her job
Yes the whole point is that alot of times i dont want them to get away. pushing them away as a melee character just gives them more chances to shoot at you. Thats why the stun was great. giving your team the opening to go crazy on them.
Or to do something important like interupting an ulti. You know, to protect your other support and other teammates like you said. Thats why old brig was a fun healer in ow1. I did not play that much of ow1 but when i did play it was brigg. But without her stun i just dont play her and when i see an enemy brig it just tends to be a free kill. Because she simply cant stay close enough to properly do anything.
It was a lazy free kill mechanic that cause more issues than it solved.
Now you play her differently, usually with an Ana or Zen and you play her to protect the other support while they do their thing
And now she is the free kill.

If you play badly yeah. Same for any hero played badly in an unsuitable comp.
I guess every single brigg i encountered in ow 2 is bad then. Thats kind of mean of you to call them all bad. Surely the common nominator is the hero they picked
Given that it seems you’re quite low MMR… The chances of that being the case are quite high.

Potantially controversal statement but… this game was better with stuns. The cowboy should get his back too.

Why is it mean if it’s true? At higher MMR Brigitte is quite strong. It’s just that loads of people have absolutely no idea how to play her. Since I’m in a good mood, I will give a small tip:

True. Because higher up, comps actually become more relevant. And they aren’t playing comps that make her viable.
Considering they wanted to reduce CC, they probably won’t bring back her stun. The bash is actually more to be used as an mobility/escape right now. Perhaps they should build on that considering all hero’s are moving to more mobility builds… Perhaps her dash should become like a sort of mini-winston leap.
Like it used to be, then they weirdly called it a bug and removed it.
Well,i dunno brigg have a stun back in OW1.I’m new to OW but hey,i love brigette! I can CC with her sheildbash & longshot flail.I’ve alots of kills with brigette.I can even kill a tank with brigette & if she’s got a stun,i think i can kill half the team.Well,no excuse for ult.Sometimes i just cant get away with ult.I sometimes gets an angry reaper so mad to use his ult just to kill me.Cuz,i really got a good bash on him.I even got a madhog chasing me around the map.Cuz,i’m a problem.Shes a great support mann!!
