Seriously stop, the “double trouble”-hacked event thing. No one is asking for you to mess with the Quickplay mode. If you want to playtest these ideas, try making a separate mode for it entirely.
I am so sick of the experimenting on people without asking, are you trying to kill your own game? Expensive skins, buffs no one asked for. Last time went down so well… you absolutley messed up quickplay for an entire week by making most maps entirely unplayable. We decided that duplicate heroes did not work EARLY on in Overwatch 1.

They’ve already explained why it isn’t done on a separate mode.
And if the version isn’t to your taste, play ranked, or an arcade mode. Or just skip OW for the weekend.

Tell me about it. Altering quick play is the same as disabling the mode outright and replacing it with the experimental mode. First game I played with this trash concept was Havana attack against 2 widow and 2 mercy. Im not playing a game where I have to kill widow 4 times to cap a point.

QP is the only mode I play. They have essentially disabled that game mode for me as I have no interest in this crap.

Same here. I only play QuickPlay Classic because it’s the closest to old skool Overwatch 1. And now they disabled it because of some dumb event nobody asked for. I don’t know who is at the helm of this game but they sure lost their touch…

I dont play arcade or ranked. I hate these modes. To me arcade is where this stuff belongs.
I enjoy playing quickplay and it is TUESDAY what do you mean weekend!? Since when does the weekend begin on a Tuesday?

I absolutely hate it. Hopefully it won’t last the entire week.
I paid for a battlepass, I want the XP and the game is removing the only mode me, and many others get enjoyement from playing which feels scummy. I dont care what their reasons are for not having a separate mode. They had it before, go back to having experimental mode being separate.

I had to log in just to comment how insanely bad this hacked game mode is. What a horrible decision. I was looking forward to playing today, but no such luck.
My anger that there is a need to delete an entire mode to do stupid experiments like this is just so annoying. Why do they even need to experiement with this? Two of any character in this game is game breaking, hence why they removed the duplicate heroes from the game. Thank goodness it is only 24 hours, however, what is the point of doing this in the first place?

But they explained why. Next time they will probably do something else mad. They are just testing how people react.
If this review is mostly negative, which is seems to be. They know the player base don’t want hero limits to be removed.
The last one they figured out Push games need to be shorter in quick play.
Yes I get that, the argument I am trying to make is that they should not disable one of the most popular game modes to do these experiments. They should have a separate experimental card like they used to back in the original Overwatch 1 days.
Again. I don’t agree with them. But they gave solid reasons why.
People wouldn’t play it if they put it in an “experimental” mode like before
So do Blizzard really hate tanks? Every change they seem to be making feels like a giant middle finger to them and then this mode? If tanking isn’t a grotty enough job already.
