McCree, at the moment is probably the WORST dps imo, You would think god like players would play mccree as he can deal a ton of damage right? WRONG, at this point, you might as well go soldier as he is more reliable has self sustain, and an escape move when things go south.
McCree’s peacekeeper has a god awful falloff range, I know he’s not supposed to be sniper mccree but like his fall off is horrible. at some ranges a tickle would do more damage than his gun.
Now McCree’s fan the hammer used to melt tanks, now it’s either a bit of a crutch for mccrees to use instead of headshotting. or it’s a “Oh crap! this guy caught me off guard and im low, time to fan the hammer!” it’s more or less a last ditch effort. now mccree’s primary fire isn’t that bad. But it’s not that good considering most dps, tanks, or hell even supports, can run away from mccree, kill him before he can much damage, or damage him severely so he has to run. also can the base damage be upped to 75? Please, i just want to be able to kill tracers, because that’s what McCree was made for. He’s supposed to be an anti flanker.
Now, Onto McCree’s roll, it’s most of the time not even remotely good, sure being able to reload almost instantly and a tiny bit of mobility is nice. but it’s 8 second cooldown completely negates it. now other people have been suggesting that it resets the roll completely on a kill, I’d rather have the cooldown buffed to 3 seconds, and a tiny bit of more mobility.
McCree’s flashbang, or the Wonkbang, as i like to call it is really weird considering how inconsistent it is. First of all, McCree’s flashbang is completely negated by the fact that it doesn’t stop momentum, meaning jumping can completely screw over a mccree if he isn’t fan the hammering. and also, how come when McCree gets flashbanged mid roll, he like teleports back to where he was, and tracers just zip past through. McCree’s flashbang imo, has good potent but bad executions. also it’s a cold day in hell for mccree’s who miss their headshot/flashbang on a tracer. R.I.P
Now, the Dienoon, sorry, i meant highnoon, is hilariously bad, when McCree uses this ability, it’s painfully obvious to see where he is and either stun, hook, dm, bully, or just shoot the damn guy, how about making the sound Universal and not direction, and get rid of the gigantic glow on his face when he does ult. You guys remember where if mccree died, got stunned, hooked, bullied, or canceled his dienoon, he would save 50% of his ult? can we implement that back? because it was a cool feature.
Overall, i think McCree could be a really good DPS or anti flanker, but only if these issues are addressed. It just hurts to see our favorite cowboy treated like this. (also can we removed McCree’s beard? i really don’t like it.)
