Can we provide unlimited ban pins to our profiles - Avoid racist/leavers/Women haters?

How have I buried my head in the sand? I’ve reported them, I’ve communicated the problem to Blizzard on here echoing what another user has posted, and I want to avoid them so that I can no longer be matched with them while they’re still able to access the game (hopefully to be banned by Blizzard so no one else has to suffer) I have literally done everything I can do deal with them.

Please fill the gaps in what else I could have done to deal with this problem - I would love to know what other solutions I should have done.

Also, the avoid feature makes it so they cannot be matched with me, that is what the avoid feature does. How do you not know this?

You okay?

Exactly.

Well for some strange reason i am slowly agreeing with you.

if for example you wear the palestine/israel flag ingame knowingly knowing that war is still going on in the east then you are only clarifying for the opposites to engage with offensive language.

we have had the same discussion here on the forums about russians and ukrainians. how is this different from the israel/palestine thing?

i take my words back because i took things out of context.

Still irrelevant to this thread as I said the abuse/toxicity was not pointed towards me.

No problem. It happens all the time.

Whilst I think hat behaviour is abhorrent, and certainly OW isn’t the time or place for it. I don’t get why someone would deliberately try to antagonise people. But then, for some, that’s their gaming personality.

I agree. You’ve probably seen my recent posts on this forum for this same subject.

Also, them clearing down your avoid list per each ban that they have actioned on is also a good idea.

That would be a smart idea. Something which Blizzard will likely never do, as it’s above their ability.

Just had another play sit in spawn…
This would be a great way to stop these types of players from getting matchmaked into my team.

Please dont take this the wrong way but may I ask if you need this many slots because of how much stuff is offending you why dont you just turn of all chat and audio communication? Youd just save yourself time and effort and while I know its a social game and it has gotten worse but I am a guy who hasnt had to deal with this stuff so my perspective obviously doesnt really matter. I just do not know why youd want to stay in the chat if its gotten this bad for you. I just think if you constantly ban people you will eventually never have people to play with and your match making time will only increase.

It’s a team game, with team work, maybe team banter. It’s a competitive game where comms helps/works/makes good team synergy.

It’s only the small minority of people who say stuff like that. I don’t want to be matched with those types of people in the future. I doubt the entire population, just the odd few.

I doubt those 20/30 people over the life of OW2 are my entire playerbase.
If my time increases, fine. It’ll be great to not play with the racist/haters/leavers/afkers, my match experience will be better

100% it’s the ones complaining about the chat that’ll be the first to claim the report system is abused and people get banned too easily too.

But, I’ve played a couple of times in the last week or so and just played out of voice chat, a little music on in the background and just chilled. Some banter seen in text and they’ve been some really fun games. You don’t need comms in ow, and they more often than not don’t make the experience better.
