Can we "separate the forums"

I can garuntee that I’m going to get a lot of backlash for this but here me out.

I want the forums to be separated by platform. Console and PC. You can still post and look at the other section, but I’d prefer it if there was an “Console General Discussion” and a PC one. My reasoning is, discussing heroes.

To explain what I mean, I’ll give an example:

The user “SkinnyLegend” made a post about Doomfist being OP (you might have already seen it), and it seemed to have gotten a lot of…I wouldn’t say “hate” but it’s definitely a split issue. I personally think he is OP because I play on Console, how does it change anything?

Aiming is a lot harder on Console, that’s a given. Everyone can agree it’s easier to track players on PC than Console. I think that Doom is op because it’s super painful to track and hit him. He’s jumping around, slamming and uppercutting every five seconds and he’s just a pain. The META and top picks are very different on PC than Console. That’s also why I think Sigma is UP. If I want to have a discussion about how to nerf DF or buff Sigma, it’s hard because I’d just have people telling me “he’s not OP/UP what are you talking about you’re just bad”. If I could talk to console players on a Console GD, than I’d be able to have a serious discussion instead of being attacked by “PC Master race players”. What do others think of this?

Edit: I also forgot to mention TC. In short, nobody uses it. So if a Doomfist is in your backline, more than likely all six players will focus on him. This does mean that he’ll die quicker, but with all you’re team focussing on one DF, no one is focussing on the other enemy players and they have a perfect chance to strike.

We’d prefer a console section as well, means we wouldnt have to read posts like this. :rofl:

yeah i’m on console and it’s a good idea, however there would be very few posts on there, as most people on these forums are PC

AND THIS IS WHY I WANT A CONSOLE SECTION. PC FREAKING MASTER RACE! Just leave me alone if you’re just going to insult me.

Hey, saying that consoles are inferior is not an insult its a fact.

It’s an option. I would spend most of my time on PC forums BUT if I want to talk about hero changed or stuff that really only Console players would want to talk about instead of being insulted and called bad, just because o play on a separate platform

There’s better ways to go about it. There was no need to tell me “I don’t want to hear what you have to say so please go away”. That’s just rude.

To be fair, got a good section of both consoles and pcs over here.

How about this:

PC

Console

Simple. Use that instead of the official forums; much more freedom and it’s platform specific.
