Getting constant BLZBNTAGT000008A4 error when trying to update game.
Re-installed game several times. Re-installed launcher as well but still fails after hanging at 99%.
Completely removed all folders for battle.net, tried to install game on separate drive but still fails.
Fresh install of the game eventually fails, Install button turns to Update and trying to update results in a fail also. Followed the few steps listed following the link but still doesn’t work.
Anyone that got the error manage to get the update to complete?
I was getting this last night. Not been about to check it since.
Was going to do a fresh install later, but if you’re saying that does nothing I won’t bother.
Honestly, I would recommend trying a fresh install anyway. Just on the off chance that the error you’re getting isn’t the exact same as I am going through.
I logged a ticket with support yesterday so I hope they have more steps I can try.
Failing that, I hope the Halloween update tomorrow will push another update that will complete 
This has happened in the past, and seems to be a regular thing especially with EU users. I got around it before by setting my VPN to USA. I no longer have a VPN as I have no need for it and I don’t like the idea of having to pay for one just to update a F2P game. 
Yeah, I’ll give it a shot.
Wasn’t going to be playing today anyways, so I’m not losing out either way.

Full uninstall and install has done the job.

I haven’t been so lucky unfortunately.

I think the pre-release download is what caused mine to glitch out, as that bit too FOREVER to download again.
Launcher began downloading the Halloween update but got stuck at 99% again and fails with the same error as I’ve been getting for the last two days. 
I would go for another full uninstall and reinstall and keep everything crossed.

Believe it or not, I managed to get it downloaded by digging out and connecting an old wifi card and piggy-backing on a neighbours wifi while it was downloading and it managed to finish…
