Can't join games

Starting with the PTR update on 24.10.18., I was able to launch the game but unable to join any games or lobbies. I could queue for a QP match and would begin loading the game but I would never load into the hero select screen. Same for training, I just sit at the loading screen forever. Now the update has gone live and I am still having the issue. Anybody else facing this issue? Any advice? Sucks to come home from work and not be able to play OW at all :confused: :frowning:

EDIT: I made a post on the NA PTR forums on 4.11.18 and didn’t recieve any response

Unfortunately, I can’t think of anything else to help, because I happen to have the same problem as well.

Same here :confused:

I can see the interface but no Ashe background. Also, anytime I try to join a game it gets stuck in the loading page.

I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling yet that does nothing

I too can see the interface and hear the themed music but no background, I have also reinstalled and that has done nothing.

Hello everyone,

Our developers are working on a permanent fix for this issue. In the meanwhile, it seems like the fix linked by givmičízplíz is letting players play normally.

Please, make sure you read all the instructions given by the developer carefully before trying the fix. If it gets worse or you notice something weird, remove the line from the command line. Once the game gets a patch with a possible fix, please try removing the command line.

Grazie io anche ho lo stesso problema ma non su ptr sembrava essersi risolto riparando il gioco ma poi ha ricominciato se va devono fare una religione all’uomo che ha dato questa soluzione

mi sono reso conto solo ora che ho lo stesso problema tre anni dopo wow che bello piccola domanda a chi ne sa qualcosa la soluzione dell’aggiungere quella riga funziona ancora o devo risolvere in altro modo?
