Cant Reinstall Overwatch

So for the past 5 or so updates I have had issues. I have tried deleting battle.net and blizzard folders. I have un/re installed battlenet app. I have run security scans.

After spending over an hour I uninstalled overwatch (even this didnt work the first 10 times). I left it on the “removing files” screen and came back a few hours later and had the option to install.

Upon clicking install I get a pop up loading screen that stays blank. I again left this for around 90 minutes and nothing.

I un/reinstalled battle.net again and it was sleeping. So i deleted the caches and tried until I got it to work (battle.net)

Now i’m down 4 hours for the second time in a week and cannot install the game!

Please assist, I have posted before with minimal assistance and really cannot go on playing a game that take 4 hours to fix every week!

Same issue, I have given up. I looked here, reddit, twitter and no responses. Tech support permanently afk

6 hours spent trying to resolve this issue. At this point I would be happy with a refund.

did you try to install overwatch with windows’s safe mode with networking?

Yes, unfortunately that doesn’t work either.

Maybe try to uninstall battle.net with iobit uninstaller? it has an option to remove all residual files related to whatever you’r trying to uninstall, maybe this will do the trick?
also try to launch everything in admin mode

I tried that and still nothing. I have also reached out to blizzard on reddit and twitter and nothing.

I have spent the past 5 hours resetting and reformatting my computer. Reinstalled windows and everything.

I am still facing the same issue. I have spent upwards of 12 hours total trying to fix a game that was working perfectly fine yesterday.

This is really weird. If you reinstalled windows and still nothing, I really don’t know how you could possibly do more than that. What’s exactly hapening when you hit the install button? do you have a screenshot or something? maybe the problem is your internet connection ? try to connect to the 4g of your mobile phone

That’s not the problem on your side then. The problem didn’t not existed in the first place hence it’s Blizzard’s faulty update.
