So, either the a new update of overwatch or a new update of windows 10 caused the games in the blizzard app to no longer be compatible. Its the problem where the launcher will say its running overwatch but the game wont open. Also, PTR was trying to update and when I ran regular overwatch, instead of pausing the update blizzard launcher throttled my cpu. which doesnt even make sense for an update. Anyways, to fix the problem a ran the compatibility troubleshooter and deleted overwatch’s cache files. For the compatibility troubleshooter you right click on overwatch launcher > properties > compatibility tab > run compatibility troubleshooter and fallow the steps. There is also a setting to run in compatibility mode that some people use instead of the troubleshooter but I haven’t had any luck with it.
I haven’t had this problem with any other games on any other launchers so it must only be an overwatch thing

If you have Razer Chroma SDK, Avast or Bullguard installed in your computer, try completely uninstalling them.
Make sure both your operative system and drivers are up to date:

Make sure you deactivate Xbox DVR:

Close background applications to make sure there’s no other program interfering with the game:

Delete the Battle.net Cache folder:

Repair the game:

If the issue persists, please create your DxDiag and MSInfo files:
