Hello, I would like to share a problem with you: I play Overwatch 2 on console, and in competitive mode, I’ve had two instances of 5 wins and 0 losses, yet I’m placed in Bronze 5. In every match, I achieve the highest score, but players who are playing at the same time as me end up in Gold or Platinum. Why am I stuck in Bronze 5 when I’m often the one carrying the team in each match? zento95#2416

Are you new in OW2. Or have you been playing ranked for awhile?
Bronze 5 is the biggest division in terms of old SR. It’s everyone ranked from 0-1500 SR. It could take anything up to 60 wins to get out of it, probably more given that you won’t win every game.
So if you started at a very low SR, then chances are, you’ll be bronze 5 for awhile.
nobody starts in bronze, the starter area is silver-gold. Then you can drop to bronze if you perform badly.
Players who started in bronze was just due to a bug in a past season that would result in them being stuck even if they played 30 games no matter what.
That did indeed used to be the case. They adjusted it in like season 2 or 3.
