First game on this evening, granted the Parasió map.
We complete the first round with 1:30 remaining on the timer, then 3 people on my team dropped out.
The match was reported as a loss as just me and one other player couldn’t hold off the other team. How the hell is this fair matchmaking?
What has Blizzard done to the matchmaker to make it this common that leavers occur?

Sounds like leavers, not match maker. (stating the obvious)
Could be they didn’t want to play, most likely just a server disconnect.

Just an annoying thing that can happen occasionally.
All the content creators were crying WHAAAAAAA WHAAA tooo long waiting times WHAAAA. So blizzard implemented a dog poo matchmaking that scrambles crap together to make a game happen.

Be diamond, queue solo… face full master 1 → GM2 premades, great matchmaking actually… so fun.
Just means that someone on that enemy team had mmr close to yours.

And as stated in earlier threads. Someone leaving a match is not a matchmaker issue.
Especially so since
Which implies that bubble’s team was winning.
I don’t think these leavers were connected to the matchmaker at all, since if it had been a stomp loss for bubble’s team i’d admit that the leavers could have been affected my the match enough to rage-quit.
The team was on a good track to win though, so it’s more likely that the leavers had personal computer or internet issues.

Well. the most annoying part of stacks are, one can leave (and does so very often) to save the rest, when its obvious they are getting rolled from the beginning, abusing the stack mechanism, as if they didnt already have an advantage over the solo player. Solos dont have that luxury they gotta eat up that loss put together by the matchmaking algorithm.
With this broken crappy matchmaking in place everyone should have the option to leave before the timer runs out, without penalty. Guess how many games wouldnt be played past the first 10 seconds? I’d bet somewhere around 80-90%.
Since thats never gonna be the case, what is the alternative? You simply dont play Overwatch!

Yes I have stopped buying the battlepass. For two reasons, one being the quality of the game in general is no where near what OW was, the matchmaker is terrible!
Two, because of the amount of people that had got banned - and only months later did Blizzard acknowledge they made a “Mistake” 
jokers.
With them being incompetent towards matchmaker, and complacent in regards to banning players, I don’t think I want to risk giving them any more £/$.
I have to agree in regards to the time it takes to find a match. They’re definitely leaving out the quality to just bunch a group of players together.
Yep I had a drastic gap in a tank before with 6 divisions difference, this was after the apparent “fix”. I still have the code, Blizzard have not yet reached out to investigate it. Just shows their level of activity on these forums…
