I won 4 out of 5 games in competitive, in which I performed well, because I got gold or silver eliminations and damage.
Lost one, where I got 3 golds.
Yet after doing so well I got played at 1282.
My season highest was around 1800 and I ended competitive at around 1400, due to bug which causes the game to freeze when a windows notification appears.
It is very offensive that after performing well, I only receive 1282 SR points.
That’s indeed a bit strange.
MMR has received a soft reset, though, and the system needs to place people in the correct rank after just 5 placement matches. Have you played more games after your initial placements? Chances are you get about 80-100 SR for a win now (might lose that amount for a loss as well) while the system is finding out what rank you should be. At least it was like that on the PTR (haven’t finished my placements yet in beta season so can’t attest now).
Games are still somewhat wonky, but it shouldn’t take too long to even out.
