Hello, Im a Latam user and I’m currently experiencing various connection issues, before the recent update the worst was 1 or 2 DC’s per gaming sesion, but recently the amount of disconections i’ve been getting have being increasing to 2 or 3 per game played. If you feel this issues in your part pls reply with your experience and let the rest notice of this.
I have this issue too. Altho to me it happens when raiding in wow (or rather, at the time I usually raid and it’s most noticeable in raiding environments) game becomes completely unplayable and when I close it and us cmd dos console to ping -t battle.net, I get a dropped package every 3-20 packages. been going on for about two months, and after a lot of experimenting, talking to my ISP and some friends that work on networking, it’s likely an issue with the nodes blizzard traffic is being routed through. dunno if this has anything to do with blizz itself
edit: I forgot to mention I’ve found people having this same issue in diablo for about two weeks.
It’s your ISP re-routing you outside of Blizzard’s network.
I remember when i started playing WoW two decades ago, i had the same issue. Turned out my ISP routed me through two nodes in Japan before i got sent to the actual Blizzard network, for some reason.
If your ISP is telling you it’s not on their end, they’re just incompetent. They’re actually the only ones who can fix it.
thank you, problem is that even if I can make them understand what routing and nodes are (yes, that level), I don’t think I’ll be able to make them understand what they need to change, suffice to say that I’ve been trying for a while and they don’t even undertand what I mean when I say that I’m pinging ISPs while I talk to them. didn’t know they were the only ones who could fix it, guess it’s vpns for me till I get it through their thick skulls or go to a new isp (tho that’s unlikely)
