they literally need to do something about her its so annoying just make sheild bash a boop like lusio the stun ruins the game like doomfist is fine he takes skill to play in order to be decent with him but briggette dose not like its ridiculous she is dps tank with heals its broken she shuts down more than half of the hero roster with one ability that isnt difficult to land

Ok, you guys remember when Lucio was changed and his aura radius was reduced and his healing amped up? Remeber before they nerfed his self-healing in the PTR he was really tanky and hard to kill. Well, his self-heal at that time was 16, now it’s 12. Brig self-heals for 16 + she got a 600 hp shield, they nerfed Lucio cause he was too tanky with 16 self-heal but that’s ok for Brigitte?

I would argue that lucio has greater mobility than brigitte, but might be wrong?

Brigitte is a tank-support hypred and she’s supposed to be “tanky”. Lucio can heal everyone around him passively, without doing anything or pressing any button, but Brigitte has to hit someone in order to use her healing.

There you go, that’s the answer you’re looking for.

Your absolutely right Basso. Lucio can wall ride his way to any point of the map.
While Brig’s mobility is extremely horizontal unless you start using her shield bash jumps for verticality (which comes at the expense of shield bash).

Lucio has variation to his movement speed in the form of heal aura / speed auro + amp it ups that makes him quite difficult to hit.

Lucio also has other movement tricks like air strafing, null jumping, wall strafing / wall riding, bunny hopping to increase his movement speeds as he so desires.

Lets be honest The only moment when you need the heal is during a team fight and during that Brig is gonna be right in there bashing everyone, and tbh she is a support its ok to make her a bit tanky but not to a point were no hero in the game can 1v1 her

Sure. But thank god she cant 1v1 everyone unless we are talking about gm vs bronze.

You need heals outside fights as well. But they fill different roles, don’t try to wash them together like this. I mean, I know how McCree’s Flashbang is a worse Shield bash, and in that context it is okay, they are both anti-flankers, McCree needs some help.

Lúcio is an off-support played mainly for the speed boost and a great instant defensive ult. Brigitte is an off-tank with some heals during the fight.

EDIT: Reinhardt can 1v1 Brigitte in most situations.

Sure she can win fights against alot of characters, but not all of them. We have Bastion, Reaper, Mei, Pharah, Junkrat, Roadhog, Reinhardt, Orisa, And believe it or not Ana. They all can deal with her on close range. But that’s the thing, they are fighting her in terms of close range, meaning she can do so much in her limited range. Out if the 6 meter range she has everyone can destroy her, well except for Reinhardt and Reaper.

I played a fair amount of Brigitte this season, and yes I think she’s a bit overtuned, but not impossible to kill. I fought against the heroes I mentioned above and I got punished if I didn’t plan my moves right.

If XQC lost a 1 v 1 against a Brig it might have been that his health was already low from a previous fight. In a swing fest between Rein and Brig, there is only one victor.
And that’s the German man, he’ll squish Brig.

Well I am a Reinhardt main, although nowhere near xQc, I happen to be in the top 1% of Reinhardts… He had about 300 health, didn’t charge, missed the firestrike, and the Brigitte had 400 health (200 armor).

Plus you must remember in that clip Brig was in the middle of a Rally.
So she was generating armor constantly at a rate of 33.3 armor a second.

After all that the Brig had like 37 hp left. So in a normal engagement you can guess what the outcome would be.

No, when he charged he was being healed by mercy and was at full health Brig just burned him down like he was nothing and even tho he shattered her she still survived, and that’s my entire point we’re are talking about a support, a support who is supposed to heal, not kill, she may have more survivability sure but in that case make her do less damage, because right now she is at a point were she can just sherd enemies like a dps

That’s the point I’m trying to make during an engagement Brig will be healing all her team at that same rate and will be making that same dmg to most of the enemy team (tanks and front-line dps) and we are talking about a SUPPORT hero. that is what doesn’t fell balanced to me

Hey Frixon,

Like BartFitz pointed out, XQC was too defensive against the Brig… Brig’s primary attack goes through his shield, her stun goes through his shield, and XQC was holding his shield up for what I’ll never know…
The only thing his shield would safeguard him from is the 70dmg dealing whipshot.

He started actually engaging the Brig quite late.
Pros are human too, they learn and adapt… They make mistakes too, so using one of his lower performance videos to state a Brig can 1v1 a Rein is silly.
