i just wont to say i love d.va i really do i always pick her always she is so much fun and i love it but i really do think she need a new ability like for wen she is out of the mech she need something new because i just dont find her fun that much anymore and with all the new heros coming out and the have so many abilites i think she need something and some other heros to
Tbh I don’t think Dva needs another ability for when she’s out of her mech. The fact that she’s able to have essentially 2 lives (and regain her mech again) is pretty good for now.
And I thought until now that the common sense in master/grand master ranks is that a baby diva without the ability to get a new mech at once is the most useless thing ever in Overwatch, and that she should let herself die as fast as possible
Under this premise the OP’s idea makes much sense.

and btw she’s still the best tank in the game
so why buff her ?
Tell me how she is still the best tank when i see her in only 1 of 10 games, and then there is zarya and rein with their mustpick status, she is in no way the best tank

Because dva is easy to learn and hard to master I think.
Yea that would actually be pretty awesome, for some reason i find playing baby D.va more fun than Mecha D.va.
In Heroes of the storm she does have a couple optional abilities while out of the mecha, a roll to dodge enemy attacks and run, and a boop, kind of like lucio.
Since we’re at that, we could also give baby D.va custom emotes according to the ones equipped for when she uses the mecha!
Although, I know that it’s kind of complicated since D.va is still a bit buggy because she has 2 modes (remember when D.va got blocked in the game for a while cuse when her mecha died everyone’s client in the match would crash lol)
She is far from being the best tank. She is now the third tank in the game

No. Baby Dva is one of Dva’s most powerful tools. It provides her with the opportunity to give herself another life without having to respawn and walk all the way back to the fight.
If you think about it, it’s the equivalent of a self revive. If they made Baby Dva actually a formidable foe then Dva would be hella broken.
I’m a D.Va main and I disagree lol, it’s already 2 lives, nobody else has that, that’s the bonus ability that baby D.Va gets so it’s all she needs
the third tank with 81% pickrate in OWL
and overbuff is not nearly accurate as you might think
overbuff only take in account people who searched their id in overbuff , meaning probably more 50% of overwatch player not part of overbuff data , and with private profiles i dont think overbuff is an accurate source atm
but if you look at OWL pickrate ,she’s sitting on 81% pickrate and that’s super high , it’s mean you gonna pretty much see her in every OWL game
and her pickrate was high for the past few seasons
so yeah she’s the best tank ATM

Well when I see her pickrate, I asume most of them went on Rein and Zarya
Best ability she could have would be to suicide bc at the higher levels they tend to bully her and keep her alive. I saw a mei freezing and ice walling her for a good min or so before the team finally decided to kill her.
