Daily IND spikes make my game unplayable. LookinGlass info

So I have daily IND spikes from 20 to 30+MS. Not huge but even when it jumps from 20 to 23ms its causing this moment of lag where its messing up an entire play and affecting my aim considerably.

I have use the Looking-Glass tool and this is the result , hoping someone could read it and tell me if there’s a problem with my internet :slight_smile:

The Looking Glass test is used to check the connection from our servers to your home network which is not useful in this case as you need to check the path your ISP uses to reach our servers. So we will need a WinMTR trace to help you in this case.

Ok so I’ve done the MTR test again. Made sure the Wi-Fi drivers are up to date and everything. I connected to a competitive game. CTRL+SHIFT+N . Copied the Server IP address and I let the test run for 5 minutes. This is the result :

Hello TheLegend57,

Sorry for the late reply, you have 95/99 % packet loss on the very first hop, this is where your PC communicates with your router/modem, normally there is a 0% packet loss.

To sort first check if you have to update the Morherboard/Network card drivers, check for Windows Updates as well. If you are using a WiFi connection please try switching to a wired ethernet cable. If the problem persists you will need to contact your ISP and ask them to check if your router/modem needs to be replaced or updated
