Delete a forum post

Hello!

I don’t know if this belongs here but this issue bugs me so much.

I just wanna know how to delete a forum post. It seems to be so difficult.

As an example, I made a post in September, 2018. It’s still there. It was just ranting but no reason and I fixed the issue myself. I really, really, really, want that post gone but when I click the delete icon, it says the following: You don’t have permission to delete this topic. If you really want it to be deleted, submit a flag for moderator attention together with reasoning.

There are 4 different flags but with NONE of them, I can provide “reasoning” as to why I wanna delete my own post. I don’t wanna flag my own dumb post as inappropriate or trolling. It was neither of them, nor was it life threating or spam. It was just a question.

For now, I’ve just written something like “delete this to my own posts” in the hopes that something will happen.

Am I missing something or do I just legit have to wait until a moderator sees it and gets rid of it?
