The whole point of Stadium was to allow people to tailor their builds to deal with the opposition as they evolve. The draft adds nothing. It simply allows the opposing tank to counter-pick, entirely nullifying the point of the customisation - and adds up to 5 minutes delay. Removing the mirror ban was a start. Now remove the pointless draft.

I think overall more people prefer the drafts because even if your tank gets counter picked, you can then choose DPS that could help your tank and so on. It does more good than not.

Iām on the side of i hate it, depends when you get to pick ect, if their tank picks last they can just pick whatever counters your entire team best, had a few of them matches, me and my partner played stadium pretty much exclusively last season and now with the āyou must pick a counter or loseā dynamic its not fun, we want to play our heroās and if its bad luck on the matchup you adapt, not āwell i picked first now iām hard countered for certainā
That along with the additional time it takes just to play its boring, 5 minutes added on just to watch people slowly pick, i think theres alot more dislike than like for it
That is fair. It does take awhile. I think itās trying to implement the ācounter picks donāt matterā narrative too. Because if your good enough at your hero, counter picks donāt matter.
Like Iāll use my main as an example. Bet u canāt guess who that is.
Lifeweaver is very easy to shut down if you know how. Hazard, roadhog and even junker queen shut down or force you to use his abilities to save teammates quicker than they come off cool down. The solution? Get creative. Roadhog hooks, place a petal underneath him so he misses his shot. Junker queen is about to ult. Place a tree Infront of her and cancel it. (That one takes ABIT of skill). Hazardā¦improvise and reserve what you can for his ult.
Ik Lw isnāt in stadium but the same logic applies. Get counter picked? Play to your strengths. Like dva and zarya. You go dva, they go zarya. What can zarya do? Pelt you with Lazer beams. But what canāt she do? Move very fast or follow you. On dva you would have to know what zayra can and canāt do. U can eat her ult for example. Just gotta get creative and play around it. (Sheās also got perks to deal with beam characters).
