I recently thought of the idea for different loadouts or presets for each hero. I think there is a wide belife that many people feel like the hero they like to play doesn’t adjust perfectly to their playstyle, or that in some/most cases they can’t play because of friendly/enemy team composition, forcing them to counter swap. So that why I thought that having at least different presets for each hero would takle these kind of problems while also keeping the game fresh and fun to play.
There are three examples that I came up with:
Doomfist light/medium/heavy presets
light
faster cooldowns
more shotgun ammo
less damage
more ult charge per action
medium common Doomfist
heavy
Slower charge up
Less distance covered
More damage
Less ammo
Immune to cc while blocking
Tracer Bomber preset
The pulse bomb is split into 3, heach pulse bomb is capable of killing 1 person but the blast radius is uncapable of dealing more than 80hp.
I feel this change would go from tracer being a high risk high reward to a low risk low reward. Making her bombs capable to split between fights or solo killing one tank, but with the downside that if she used the first pulse bomb and dies the other two would waste themselfs after respawn.
Cassidy Heavy Slug preset
Max of 5 rounds in chamber
Slower fire rate
More damage per round
