This has gotten on my nervous lately, I queue into a game let’s say tank on comp, I get to the ban screen where it shows all four heroes banned, game doesn’t load in and we all get sent to lobby with the error “failed to connect to server” and it started off with a 15 minute ban, then an hour, up to 8 hours, then 20, and last night I was playing support with my friend just doing stuff helping the team diving backline as jetpack cat and I’m fighting a mizuki right, BOOM I get kicked, not even an internet bug because the game worked just find it just kicked me and now I’m completely banned for the whole season, don’t know if anyone else has had similar problems but it’s very annoying

i get the same issue aswell and i couldnt find any solutions to this hope they can unban tho
I got the exact problem this evening. 2 games - exactly how you describe it. Game fails to connect after the banned hero screen!
This won’t stop happening to me! I wish they’d stop ignoring it…

Pissing me off to read this comment as if the issue is with the user, everyone is having those disconnections lately for like 2 months now, the issue is overwatch, not the player.

I have exactly the same issue on Xbox, hope they will remove the penalty
one thing that also happens when I get the disconnect is that the map selection poll keeps spinning through all the votes and suddenly map loads, but doesn’t slowly decrease and I can’t see which map won. Usually on those same games, the match disconnects all of the sudden for me. They have been having some serious connectivity issues on the server side but don’t aknowledge looks like.
