Do i own the game or not?

i own an underpowered laptop,last summer overwatch became free for a few days so i thought that i should get it even if it does not run on my laptop,but i want to know something did overwatch simply let people try it for free for a few days or people who got it in that period own it like they would if they purchased it?
my dad will buy a new desctop one of these days and i plan to ask him let me play it there,i will not need to purchase the game right?

one more thing the computer that my dad will buy will have core i5for cps intel HD graphic for graphics card and 4 gigs of ram,it should run with at least 24 fps right?(i play video games on my underpowered laptop for so long that 30 fps has become my standard)

The game was only free to play during the “free to play weekend”. You do not have the game purchased/registered on your account.

You can find the full system requirements for Overwatch here, which includes the minimum requirements as well. Other players here ont he forum might have experience with the setup you are looking at, and can provide you with some insight as to how it performed.

i guess i will buy it like everyone else(unless if those rummors that say that overwatch will become free to play come true).
