Do you think it would be good? Maybe make that you can’t play with guys who have 400 more levels than you i think it is unfair because beginner can play against 6 guys who have 1000 level and can’t do anything DO SOMETHING WITH THIS GAME BLIZZARD
Length of play time (which is what the level is, basically) does not relate directly to skill. SR relates to skill, MMR relates to skill. You could put your character into an xp farm for 2 years and get a gold border out of it without any skill. You may only have one arm and move your character with your feet (people do that, it’s amazing and inspiring) and probably has a hard cap to where they can get with that. There might be kids, one-tricks, 80 year olds, and on the other side of things a top 500 can get a new account and has level 1 despite still being a top 500 player. You will get matched with people of similar skill (at least that’s the idea).

So if you grouped with up gold and silver border players you must be just as bad as they are

Myrion pretty much explained it though, player level means absolutely nothing. Perhaps a reflection of playtime but that’s it, MMR and SR are the correct way to show a person’s skill.
i mean when you have about 1000 level and still have silver you must be noob i have 100 level and i got group with otp torbjorn golden border who did nothing in game but didnt switch, when i played next game enemies got 3 golden borders and 2 silver, they were really good and carried game, i am asking why guys like him exist
