Does Blizzard use a Double jeopardy on the reporting system? For example, if a person commits a crime and a cop puts him in jail. They can’t keep following the guy for the rest of his life arresting them continuously for the same crime.
However blizzard appears to take the same thing and continuously use it to suspend and ban players. If you get suspended 3 years ago for a off color joke.
Blizzard appears to take that same joke you told 3 years ago and use it to justify any future suspensions or even banning your account.
They might take reports you get because someone did not like the characters you picked, suspend you and when asked to justify the suspension, bring up the joke you told 3 years ago.
Has anyone else noticed how blizzard will not tell you the most recent thing you did but rather trying to dig back years to justify suspending your account.
They don’t want to tell you that someone reported you for saying " EZ win" an hour ago or T-bagged some player a win but they want to bring up the off color joke you told back in 2017 as the sole reason for more and new suspensions/bans.
This seems like a Double jeopardy ( or worse) system here.

You didn’t get banned for something you did 3 years ago, you got banned for something you did now.

Double jeopardy is used in real life because criminal punishment has meaningful consequences. Being banned in a game because you can’t resist the urge to flame your teammates is really not the same thing.
You aren’t being banned for the same flame. You are being banned for flaming, again, after being punished. If you murder someone and do jail time you don’t magically get a free pass to murder again after you get out.
Well, its more like you get a speeding ticket.
Then a year later the cops throw you in jail for life for not wearing a seat belt
Or you just keep repeatedly annoying people, they keep reporting and you keep getting actioned.
Try behaving for a bit and see how it works out.
This is for reference for you…
### Communication
When participating in communication of any kind (chat, voice communication, group finder), you are responsible for how you express yourself. You may not use language that could be offensive or vulgar to others.
Hate speech and discriminatory language is inappropriate, as is any obscene or disruptive language. Threatening or harassing another player is always unacceptable, regardless of language used. Violating any of these expectations will result in account restrictions. More serious and repeated violations will result in greater restrictions.
