End of season ranked has always been scuffed.
If this gets people to try, and as a by product improves the quality of end of season matches. Then it’s a reasonable idea.

end of season ranked = 200% cheater infestattion. It has always been same. Game already suffering 100% cheater infestation daily, but in the end of every season it even worse.

Lol. If I was getting that many cheaters in my games, I’d of uninstalled and stopped engaging a long long time ago.
Think I’ve seen 1, maybe 2 this season.
But end of season OW has always been known as a drop of in match quality. This new thing makes no difference to me, but if it means more people play/try, I’m all for it.

Exactly what I’ve been saying since they first announced this. What is the point if the rewards are temporary?
If anything, this is the ultimate anti-fomo. If you don’t participate in this, you aren’t missing out on anything, since the “rewards” will just be wiped in a few seasons anyway.

I’d of thought it was fairly obvious. It’s probably temporary to see what impact it had on the end of the season
If it has a big positive impact. You’ll probably see it expanded in a few seasons.
That’s the worst possible way to go about it. How could that be obvious? If they change their mind later, then people will feel betrayed since they didn’t bother when they said it gets reset. It’s plain ridiculous.

The Coolest Thing about OW2’s Ranked Reward System is that you can grind it relatively free from pressure.
Then this Drive Stuff comes along and penalizes losing streaks.
