Endorsement is so dumb, reporting = lowering your endorsement

Endorsement is the most useless and most grindy aspect of the game. You do one thing wrong and you lose your endorsement level. Been Endorsement level 4 countless time. Had games where I played a little worse. I get the most vile and toxic players in my game, so I report them, but you know who gets punished instead? The reporter, for every report I lose my endorsement and get shoved back to level 3.

Yes, it’s useless even though I like to have this nice medal, I rarely get angry, I rarely shout into the mic or flame against teammates. I keep it to myself and just end with a gg wp. I’m just frustrated with grinding so hard and losing it again because of this faulty system :confused: What’s the point even in BEING nice!

Why is it limited to 1 per game also. And why it is so ugly compared to the previous cards?

You only get a small amount of BP XP with your monthly pat on the back.

Just ignore endorsements, they are meaningless. Other than seeing when someone’s been banned.

Yeah. The endorsement system died a long time ago. I am not sure why anyone bothers.

I don’t know how low your endorsments are, but i got a whole battlepass level as an endorsement reward

I’ve been endorsement level 5 for years and to be honest and even if that’s silly I was proud of that.

My behaviour is exactly the same and I’ve dropped to level 3 since overwatch 2 release so I don’t know if it’s working properly or what.

I’m always positive in chat and always endorse my teammates, so /shrug ^^

I think that drop is more due to decay from no one really using the system now.

Why are you even care about it, it means nothing in matches

-Endorsement level is specifc in Overwatch it’s been always specific,in order to maintain endorsement you have to play every day, inorder to improving your endorsement level you have to be friendly with both teams not leaving games and not giving any reason to anyone to report you.And spam button for report dosn’t work,maybe most of your report might be true,but if you do an report false it will impact alot on your Endorsement level.

I’ve been grind it around year,year an a half, and it’s went down from 5 to 4,then up, after that for a long time it stays level 5 as it now.Grind is must whatever u want to achieve anything in any game.Good luck in the future!

Funny though, I litterally didn’t play for 2 years and haven’t dropped level 3, but I just can’t keep level 4. I have work and when I come back home it’s level 3 again. It’s just insane, they really think you play all day just to maintain that level

I once didn’t play for a month and my endorsements stayed at five. Not sure if they decay faster now though

That has absolutely nothing to do with you reporting people, that happens to near literally everyone. Every time I hit endorsement 4 I roll my eyes knowing I’ll be 3 again after another 2-3 games.
