Keep getting this issue with my game where everytime I enter a match, my game stays on the load screen to entering a match and it’s would stay on it for a good 2-3 mins, I’ve had to keep closing the game and it’s happens while I was loading onto a competitive match and I keep getting suspended.
I would have to restart my whole computer to get rid of this issue.

Sorry to hear about your experience. This could be a wide range of things so I don’t have an easy/quick fix sadly. Please follow these steps:
If issues persist please collect your MSINFO file and contact us here.
While testing please do not use competitive mode to ensure you are not further penalized as a leaver.
My game keeps getting stuck on “entering game” when connecting to a game of Competitive play and then kicking me for inactivity - it will play death match and quick play with no problems. This is leading to temporary bans and has now happened twice tonight within 3 games. The game is not crashing, and my internet is fine, it just hangs on that screen and then removes me for inactivity.
Having this too twice tonight. Just got home today after 3 months away during lockdown. Did it fix for you?
Yeah, having the exact same problem twice today, too. Haven’t been playing over the past month and a half.
I just came back to this game after a few months off. I have literally not changed anything about my system. This computer is just for gaming and I have not so much as downloaded a file on it since playing the game last. The only thing that has changed is doing the most recent Blizzard updates and now apparently I can barely even play this game. Sometimes I will get in a match but I estimate at least half the time it will say “Entering game” and then just hold on that screen and eventually tell me I was kicked for inactivity. Then I can’t even get out of that screen, I have to force quit Overwatch and start it again.

The only thing I figured out (I think) is that it is more likely to happen if I momentarily alt-tab out of Overwatch to something else and back again. I am not 100% sure there is a relation there but once I resolved to try not to do this, I didn’t have as many problems. I am going to try again tonight and see if it is any better.
It’s really obnoxious because I get my endorsement level demoted when it happens since it thinks I’m leaving games.
