I am lvl 21 and I have only got one epic lootbox drop.
How often do they drop?
I want skins on my characters.
The only epic skin I got is Mei Firefighter skin but the thing is that I do not play her.
Statistics from a few years ago (2017) mentioned Legendaries drop at 7.4% whilst Epics are 18.2%. But it all comes down to the powers of RNG (Random Number Generator). I wouldn’t be surprised if the statistics are the same in the current game.
I don’t think they’ve adjusted the drop rates. But the amount of normal and epic items in general has gone up a lot quicker than Legendary items.
Then again, I can’t remember the last normal loot box I opened that wasn’t just duplicates or money.
Then I get to events, I have so many credits I can just buy what I want… so even then the event boxes are pointless lol.

Don’t worry. Once you’re at level 500 or so you will have had so many duplicates that you can usually buy the skins you want.
