" Error starting game, Trying again"

Since the most recent update I keep getting an error message when trying to join games that says “Error starting game, trying again” it seems to occur randomly but is there anything I can do to prevent it?

We did have some update issues that have now been resolved for most players
so what you can try to do is to follow these steps which cover most patching issues.
