Error starting game, trying again

Hello,
after the update i am unable to start a competitive overwatch 2 game. I queue for role queue ALL, i find a game and then it fails to start with this message:

Error starting game, trying again.

i tried to reque 10 times and the result is still the same.

I dont want to be toxic or anything else, but who is coding this stuff? as a developer myself i barely undestand the difficulties of such a large code base, but this is far beyond acceptable. Where is the legacy of a company that was the greatest in the field? Where is the pride?

I feel bad.

same problem here, error starting game. Blizzard have always had problems like these xP remember all the wow issues?

I donā€™t understand what happened to the source code at this point. We had a wonderful stable game, patched, very niche subtile bugs every 2 months happening. OW2 comes out and all the problems in the world strike blizzard.

What happened to the game. What did they do and how didnā€™t they plan all of this?

Same problem in every game-mode. And now I tried to to ā€œscanning and repairā€ and now that is bugging, saying ā€œOps something broke lets try againā€. And this happend 3 times in a row now so seems I canā€™t even get game to work anymore :persevere:

Same issue, was able to get into Coop VS AI and skirmishes once or twice, but now I canā€™t get into any games at all.

Maybe they tried to fix bastion and torbjĆørn glitch. So we able to use them in comp again :ok_hand:

exact same problem here, so frustrating

Honestly, considerable understatement since its more or less blocking the majority of games getting going of all types right now and tahts after a couple hours of latency chaos as folks are being routed to the wrong game servers for their geographical position (i.e. in my case being normally eu at 40ms being routed to servers in west coast US and signapore for some strange reason leading to consistent 240-300ms) all post this patch too.

Same thing happening with me. Find game, canā€™t connect, priority requeue canā€™t connect. This loop every time I tried.
