It can’t be difficult to change the number of allowed avoids, so it must be kept at 3 for queue times. I don’t care how long it takes to find a game if I’m not with some of the toxic people I want to avoid. If you want to keep a limit so that people have to be picky on who to avoid, fine. But, 3 is WAY too low. Even 10 would be low.

Yeah we need more avoid slots in ranks with a lot of population. Plat and Gold should have like 12.

Seriously? Avoid people as opponent? From a purely competitive standpoint, that’s absurd. “This opponent is too good, I’ll avoid them.” What?
The point of the avoid list is not to pick and choose your team - you got LFG for that. It’s to avoid the singular cases of impossible to play with team mates.
Want to have nicer team mates? Don’t be toxic yourself so your endorsement level rises and you will get team mates with higher endorsement levels themselves.

I think 10 would be enough for the week, after the 7 days as normal it would be cleared.
Wait, the endorsement levels work like that? New information to me.
I use avoid teammate to get rid of weaker teammates and hopefully I get to play against them in the next game. Sometimes it works and the payback is glorious!
Well, groups are a thing, you avoid one and in reality you avoid 2-5.
I have never to my knowledge used an avoid slot for the enemy team, it’s always numpties on my team.
Only if 2 player’s are placed in lower bracket and basically wiping time and time again on it.
So what are chances it gets implemented hmm or do we all get silenced like what happens here on a regular basis.
No devs apparently use the European forum so the OW team won’t see this topic but I am sure on the U.S forum there are loads of topics covering this.
Chances are silm I think, blizz don’t like to alter things, it’s almost like they are untouchable so whatever they originally did must be left alone, otherwise they would be admitting to some sort of lack of foresight.
Topic will probably get lock and vanish in to the vault with the rest of them.
So far endorsements have no effect in my games, at all, so that doesn’t work.
LFG so far has been poorly implemented because either way you are just doing normal matchmaking but with a bit of a hurdle in front of it and the fact it still will pair you against a properly filled premade makes it an unwanted method of matchmaking.
Singular cases happen in nearly every game of overwatch, the games ranking system combined with toxicity and smurfs created valid points to avoid both teammates and opponent’s so I will gladly take more avoid slots and avoid opponent slots, when your ranking system has the integrity of a wet tissue then having the ability to say you don’t want that is totally fine with me, if this game had any sense of prime matchmaking and really tried to combat smurfs then I would disagree with avoiding other teams but right now in this game with this poor a matchmaker id pay jeffs salary to implement it.
This list shouldn’t be limited at all. Please make it unlimited. I don’t care if i can’t find a match in days, but playing with mentally blind over and over is frustrating.
If you are playing with such terrible players over and over, there is one truth… seeing as you match with them based on your MMR
