I am confident that expanding the avoid function to allow us to avoid people as enemies for toxicity/smurfing/cheating etc. as well as increasing the number of people you can avoid, would solve a large majority of peoples gripes with OW atm

Toxic players should’t exist avoiding smurfs will just give you a bad time, cheating won’t go away if you avoid it just report it take a break if you have to.

That doesn’t really stop people from being toxic though. Those Mei players that block you with ice walls, healers that don’t heal you, players who spam voice lines just to cause disruption. Toxicity can come from many avenues, text chat/voice isn’t always the primary one.

Preference based matchmaking cough
Preference based on language.
Preference based on team comps desired.
Preference based on team comps you do not wanna play against cough goats in most cases in my case i would wanna see less dive cos i wanna play more Ana.
There should be options to avoid certain team comps on enemy team, so you still face them but there less common for example.
