I find the chances to get the items from a lootbox extremely low. If calculated the chance to get a specific epic item is about one in 4000. The odds to drop an epic item from a lootbox is %21.93 and there are a total of 846 epic items that you can recieve from a lootbox. It’s pretty much impossible to get a specific item that you’re looking for.
The obvious solution may seem like just buying the skins that you want and that would work for most cases. My issue is the limited event skins that are in the lootboxes, for example the skin Kyo Gisha for Hanzo. I’m sad that I missed this skin back when it was avaible to get from an event. I’m all for exclusive and limited skins while respecting old players for their efforts, however when you can get these skins from lootboxes it just doesn’t make sense. It hurts to see someone get the Kyo Gisha skin and they don’t even play Hanzo or have any idea about the origins of the skin. I’m sure other players would feel the same way with the skins that I got from lootboxes.
I’ve never had a problem with Kyo Gisha being a limited skin up until lootboxes and now I know I’ll never get the skin no matter how many lootboxes I open.
