I’ve been engulfed in the custom games community for quite some time now and I feel that even though there is a lot of customisation available, there are some features missing that could improve the overall experience.
Here are some listed below:
Editable title once the original owner leaves
Quite a few times the original owner has left and the current owner wanted to change the title, but was unable to. If this was added then players wouldn’t have to join a server to learn it’s changed to a different game mode than they expected.
Randomise option
For a while, a lot of people have wanted a randomise teams option. If it was added, some matches you could be on a friend’s team and some you might not. This allows for some friendly competition which can be quite entertaining.
Game description
If a description was added (maybe in the lobby screen) owners could display information that might be valuable to the players. Many times, a new player has wanted to know the rules, but the owner might’ve just explained them a minute ago to another player. If they could simply be directed to a button on the lobby screen, it could save a lot of time.
If some of these were added, I and many other players would be delighted.
