I want to be short, clear, and concise. I believe in giving Feedback not Suggestions, so there will be far more feedback.

Good:

I love Season 9. I enjoy large changes that shake up the way the game is played. I understand that these changes come with inevitable, unforeseen, negative consequences.
-
I enjoy the new DPS passive. Having more agency as a DPS is very good.
-
The Projectile Size change makes more characters available for me who’s skill floor was previously too high for me to comfortably play.
Bad:
-
I think tanks as a whole are very restricted now and lack the agency necessary to perform in a variety of situations and compositions.
-
I think hitscan Heros vastly outpace timed projectile Heros in terms of overall benefit from the new projectile size changes. This has caused a large discrepancy in the effectiveness of DPS based solely on projectile type.

Zenyatta is oppressive. Zen single-handedly decides games with his Discord Orb. The combination of “Discord Orb + DPS passive” makes it so targets die extremely quick and makes if feel as if burst damage has gone up; even with the new health pools. As it stands currently this single ability is an excessively large debuff with disproportionately little counterplay given it’s burst potential. It is akin to a Baptiste Ult on a single target, that doesn’t require positioning. Albeit with reduced damage numbers, but a similar effect none the less. This needs to change!
Suggestion -
- My only suggestion is to change Zenyatta’s Discord Orb so that there is a maximum amount of damage that can be amplified with it. I believe this would allow for better balancing around the ability while still keeping it’s core mechanic in tact.
