Feedback on Feb. 26 2019 Patch Notes

New hero:
This hero is maybe one of the most engaging and fun supports I have played in some time. He doesn’t feel broken because his self sustain isn’t ridiculous, despite what people say his immortality doesn’t feel broken and his ult is nice and strong without being game breaking. Seriously I love this character.

Armor:
This change is going to be great against GOATS and a nice buff for Winston. The change hasn’t made too much of a difference in my play style, shield tank/support but I know its going to be good for dynamite and Winston at least!

Damage Boost:
This change is great purely because this is what it should’ve been to begin with. My average dmg boost state has jumped. Nice to boost some dps and no matter where that dmg goes its boosted from the start. Good touch. The sound isn’t a massive change but more information for the Mercy player.

Ana: Nano Boost:
This is just a nice tone down for the most part.

Doomfist:
Overall I still feel his distance for slam could be extended again. But this has really helped the character become a viable pick again.

Hanzo:
More scouting information is vital for Hanzo so you can maximise the hero use. Good touch.

Lucio:
Not sure if this was ever a problem for most people but nice to get credit where credit is due I suppose.

McCree:
Seeing this makes me happy. It’s true that with all the armor changes McCree doesn’t need as much dmg on his FTH. The ult change really makes it even more viable. Good patch for McCree mains

Mei:
Ice wall needed to be toned down because there was next to no counter play for it. Not sure about this dps increase especially with the new patch thats going live. I feel like she might be a bit overtuned

Moira:
God bless this patch. Moira doesn’t feel like a waste anymore. Being able to top off characters like this is such a nice touch and it is reflected in her healing stat. Doesn’t make her healing broken, just nicely supplements it.

Orisa:
Yes. Just yes. Nice is finally be able to play her in all situations. Be aggressive and move faster to either keep pushing while maintaining cover fire or secure kills. Nice job!

Pharah:
Feels more powerful, I get dunked on a lot more. Not a bad thing. Nice touch.

Soldier 76:
OOooooo I don’t know how but he feels so much more powerful now. Maybe it’s just me but he feels like much more of a threat then he was.

Sombra:
Really bringing her to the fore front ehy? Not mad at it. Good change on the health pack hacking!

Torbjorn:
Nice little update. Makes him a touch more resilient and it shows in game.

Widowmaker:
Not sure if the payoff of seeing health bars in enough to warrant losing the ult when she dies. Seems like an unfair trade. Maybe she can see ults? Something worth wanting to see?

Wrecking Ball:
The shields really needed this. Trying to be a stall or make way felt so awkward because when making space you had to feed your health to the enemy by popping out of ball form to pop shields. Good update!

That’s it boys. Hope the feedback will help devs and give others my views on the patch notes.

Counterplay to Mei wall, choose any of the dive heroes, or take it down in seconds with storm arrow on Hanzo, Junkrats, Bastion, or reaper shooting at pointblank. Also, dps buff is necessary as she has the lowest dps in the dps category (and is weaker than most tanks when it comes to overall dps).

In US Forum, i read about mercy’s nerf on damage boost, but couldn’t find the main source. help please. thanks.

Its not a dmg boost nerf its just the fact that Lucio or any push backs will stop rez about 100% of the time.

There is no Mercy nerf. She dmg boosts weapons damage from the weapon. Not when the damage hits the enemy. New sounds to accompany missed dmg boost shots and new hit damage boost shots

Difference between Mercy damage boost and Zen is Zen increases damage against the target, so entire team focusing that target gets a boost, Mercy can only boost one unless she ult.
