I’ve seen alot of people complaining about the ffa and mystery ffa. Personally I think that mystery ffa is absolute garbage. You should never replace a half decent game mode with a direct downgrade. The massive majority of people like the normal ffa, so please just leave it like that.
Noone cares for FFA apart from one-trick DPS mains - and they are generally the loud and whiny ones.
If you don’t like it don’t play it.
Completely agree with this, the mystery aspect completely defeats the purpose of FFA in OW, for me personally. I like that I can pick the hero I feel like playing, not having to deal with what a team needs me to pick. I don’t like playing most of the hero roster of OW, and it pisses me off to get assigned Winston/Reinhart/Orisa/Symm etc. in FFA, I don’t find them fun or interesting to play whatsoever.
I also use DM to practice or warm up, which again, gets completely undone with being a random hero. No use practicing Winston, when I want better Ashe mechanics.
DM is a mode that makes me able to enjoy OW mechanics and characters without being a jerk to a potential team. When DM is not in the arcade in a decent version, I basically have no drive to play the game at all.
Yes you can find custom games, the problem just seems to be, that not enough people actually use that option, and many times, even finding just one normal FFA that isnt 1/12 or 12/12 takes many games’ worth of time.
FFA should just be a standard mode at this point, leave the arcade, like QP or comp.

Aren’t you able to host your own FFA games where people can pick their own heroes? You don’t have to rely on standard servers.
You can setup your own game with your own rules.
Yeah, and play with bots basically. Almost impossible to find proper games, at least on EU server.
