Final feedback : state of this game, nothing is changing

After two years of playing and yet another Alt+F4 after a cheater infested match, I hit my tipping point and asked myself: why am I even playing this game? Why am I providing feedback when it’s ignored and most of it is deleted by forum moderators? Why do I care about this game when it clearly doesn’t care about me? Why am I even using the report function ingame if nothing ever happens to cheaters and both Blizzard and most of its players seem indifferent?

From day one of joining Overwatch 2, I noticed how rampant cheating is in this game. It’s crazy. I quit TF2 (team fortress 2) for the exact same reason, it became unbearable due to the sheer number of cheaters in every single game and the HvH (hack vs hack) experience.
But I had high hopes for Blizzard. They’re a multibillion dollar company, surely they would be actively fighting cheaters. Surely something would be done. But in reality, two years of endless requests to address cheating have been met with deafening silence and zero action. The game state remains unchanged - cheaters in every single game. I’ve read cheat forums. The same cheats have been used for years, yet nothing ever happens to those using them. The game is unplayable. Cheater stacks after cheater stacks. The report function does nothing, it’s purely cosmetic.
And sadly, Blizzard will never address the rampant cheating in their game.

Matchmaking is another major problem that’s been completely ignored. It is clearly based on EOMM (engagement optimized matchmaking). It’s designed to keep people playing rather than rewarding skill. Every time I’m on a winning streak, I encounter a cheater stack for a forced 100% loss. So the matchmaking system knows who is cheating and matches you against them to ensure you lose. Not to mention the obvious implementation of aim rigging. The ranked system should focus on players skill and performance instead of enforcing predetermined wins or losses.

Blizzard also fails to reward its community adequately, further alienating its player base. For example, they differentiate player bases, like the preferential treatment China received and refuse to allow players to buy or obtain locked, legacy or removed skins or previous Battle Passes despite endless requests.

Feedback is totally ignored. After two years of complaints and endless texts, there has been no response, just extreme censorship, with feedback being moderated and removed.

You simply do not care. That’s the reality I have to face. What’s most frustrating is that nothing will ever change because Blizzard does not care about its players.

No more. I’ve had enough. No more topics, posts or replies in this so called “game forum.” No more feedback, no more requests, no more reporting toxic players and no more reporting cheaters.

This is no longer Overwatch 2. It’s Cheaterwatch 2. Riggedwatch 2.

You got caught cheating and being a rage quitter. Get gone.

All that he is saying is true. People really underestimate how bad cheating situation is in OW and how inefficient OW2 anti cheat is.

There are studies putting OW2 in 2nd place in what regards the quantity of cheats.

Is only loosing against Fortnite, and little remember, Fortnite may have 10x more players than OW.

We don’t even need those studies, a little visit in a cheater forum shows how bad OW2 anti cheat is. Seems the only AAA game where cheaters providers can stay undetected for years using only internal cheats. No OW2 cheater provider is even worried in developing cheats using external hardware like DMA cards or Arduino chips.

Is like they are using an 10 years old anti cheat, something really useless…

Wanna cheat in Fortnite? Prepare 250$ for a DMA card + 70$ monthly for cheat subscription.

Wanna cheat in Valorant? Reset your PC to install a specific and modified version of Windows 10, buy an Arduino chip etc + 90$ monthly for cheat subscription

Wanna cheat in OW? Just prepare 10/30$ for monthly subscription, you’ll basically need to download an executable that will inject the cheats when starting the game… same methodology that 15 years old cheats used to work.
No need DMA cards, reset PC to specific Windows versions, Arduino chips,… nothing. Simply download a program and launch it.

For not talking about the people complaining on those forums because Marvel Rivals is detecting OW2 cheats and not OW2 itself  Guess Blizzard should sign new contract with NetEase for solving their cheating issue.

No on underestimates it.

He massively overstates it. Especially has he is probably a cheater (videos on his own YouTube channel). Now someone busted him for it.

It’s funny.

Cheating is a big problem in every PvP game. But if you’re playing OW and thinking there’s cheaters in every match. 1, uninstall. 2. Give your head a good wobble.
