Fix 6v6 already

it still uses the atrocious 5v5 rulesets / hero parameters. Restore it to classic instead of this trash ASAP please.

I like it the way it is…

That is literally the point of the test though.

You will have Classic modes for the “restored” look. This is to test how 6v6 would function with the game as it has evolved.

That being said, some changes are needed, and some of the changes to people like Rein don’t make a lot of sense. But it is a test after all.

6v6 is definately the way to go, its far more interesting than 5v5 simply due to the ability to counter in different ways and not have one player (tank) take all of the responsibility for protecting the team etc.

I think the issue right now is the same as with 5v5 the matchmaking and balance. With a larger amount of players the poor matchmaking and balance is amplified, which is the reason it feels different to OW1.

Match making is fine.

Balance there will always be issues.

But are you willing to accept the far longer queue times due to their being very few tank players. If yes, then it makes sense to crack on with 6v6 again.

Just as I predicted when they switched to 5v5; Once enough people leave and they realize they messed up, they’ll back track to 6v6 under the guise that they’re doing us a favor and listening to their playerbase’s feedback. What a joke.

People haven’t left though. It does actually seem it’s being done because the players asked for it. (Even if it’s being done at a somewhat convenient time) .

The queue times are wrong btw so they cannot really tell about how popular the mode is. For example I got 16 minutes support and was in the game in 1 minute… twice in a row lol.
I suspect maybe their programmers didnt account for the 6th player or sth getting weird timings int heir calcs it’s Blizzard after all.

Well, those times have always been estimates, not a certainty.

Overawtch 2 does not want tanks to be protectors, it wants tanks to be DPS’s that cant die or get CC’d thats your misconseption.

More tanks are now focused on CCing you and killing you than protecting or providing utility for the team. Majority of protective abilites are just for tanks alone and not the team. Overwatch 2 wants you to feel bad for not picking tank. It wants you to play DPS or Support and get run down by tanks. It wants you to have a bad time in exchange for tank que.

Dont get me wrong, I am with you on this one, but your statement portrays another problem very bluntly. THE Matchmaker, why are stacks favored e v e r y s i n g l e t i m e!? Business approach, thats why, their thought is if you favor a group of players rather than being fair that group of players will keep playing instead of going over to the competition. Solo player is not a sheep like the group player, hence wont follow to the competition, but will just stop playing. Thats better for business than have the competition have rising player numbers. So its political. To combat this solo players, sorta, unionize in Discord channels Reddit etc… there is alot more going on outside of these forums (clearly)!

yup the more players the mm can pick from the easier it can manage to make a good match up, makes sense
