Fix the lfg role enforcement

LFG groups should not be able to lock roles unless they are A COMPLETE 6 STACK. A 3 man group should not be able to que and enforce a triple DPS role. That completely ruins the competitive environment. PLEASE FIX THIS NOW.

Issue is if the 3 stack are ā€˜lockedā€™ it is forcing the randoms to cover the other roles (regardless of their mains). Yes, it can work without a 2-2-2 but rarely works in Comp with 5 DPSā€¦

Some people are doing this to such an extent that they lock on 5 supports. You are basicially forced to lose.
No matter what you do or how good you are, you are going to lose. Howā€™s that an 50% chance of winning?

Thatā€™s why you donā€™t play in a group of 5 or below. If you do, be ready to lose.

except if you are the solo player that gets paired with the 3/4/5 stack that is essentially throwing the game based on their ridiculous role enforcement. A team of people less than 6 should not be able to queue into competitive with locked roles and ruin the game for their solo queue teammates.

If matchmaking pairs groups with similar role enforcement, it wouldnā€™t be a huge problem.

Otherwise, at least in competitive games, hero role enforcements should be disabled for groups or 5 or lower.

It would be ok if thereā€™s an indicator for a preferred role but the player should still be able to pick any hero.

The whole point of group finder is to find a group with a role slot you want to fill. If they want to play DPS and get others to fill in the other slots then that is entirely their choice and there is nothing wrong with it. You do not need to fill in that group.

Even better, you could start your own group and play whichever role you wish.

Or not use the group finder at all and switch between roles on a whim.

You missed the point of the post entirely. The point was that a group of 3 could all lock in dps and ruin the competitive experience for SOLO players. which has happened in my games multiple times.
