The game was temple of anubis and the entire of round 1 went as normal then round 2 starts and someone leaves but 30 seconds after that guy leaves our whole team has their games crash and we all keep joining back but it keeps crashing us. There was only one guy on our team that didn’t crash once and that guy was a low level. This was in competitive as well so it was most likely an alt account and he was the only one in the whole game at that low a level everyone else was 100 or higher. I think someone may have been hacking to force crash our games so it would end faster or guarantee a win for the other team.
In terms of proof all I have is a replay code: QA6RG1
And let me point out that I have never in my 5 years of playing this game crashed mid comp game.
So basically what you say is that yalls Game kept crashing? Did one of got any error code or none? Because before I was playing OW in a custom game and it just crashed like I pressed ALT F4 (which I clearly didnt). Probably some Technical Issues with the new Patch. Maybe it will get fixed soon. Who knows

Yeah. It was so weird before I was just playing in a Friendly Game and the game just closed instantly LOL. I thought I found a new combination to close Applications quickly lol
Yeah I would’ve chalked it up to it being a bug or something with the new patch but it only happened to 5 people on one team and no one else. Which is why if it is a bug it could’ve been someone exploiting it or there’s generally some new hack that force crashes you. Both have happened in the past so I wouldn’t be surprised it either was the case.
I dont think theres a hack like this. And if there is one. Respect to the person who programmed this. Anyway they somehow scheduled maintenance for 1am CET now? Maybe its for Blizzard in general or only OW who knows
even if the hackers were able to find out your IPs (which is already difficult or hardly possible)
the games run on the blizzard servers and it is not possible to find the individual game and the individual map via them
I’m bringing this up specifically because it is impossible for someone to get your IP address from within Overwatch.

This just happened to me as well on Temple of Anubis, at about the same time (6 minutes into the match).
Same just happend here too! only our team kept crashing while we are winning overtime. Seems like someone from enemy team did something to make our game close one by one. Is it maybe possible to write the enemy team names? We might figure out who did it
My team was; wisqo, fluffyraider, scatter, thijk, rain and gumbarates. we all crashed so it would be the enemy team…
enemy team names: C1CHY, KEBU, BLIXEN, SILVER4, MARIO, LODAY .
Someone mentioned MARIO did it before. might be the guy
similar thing happened here 06VGJ4. one person leaves and I think typical OW, but then I crash instantly, no errors or anything. come back and then a few more on my team drop. I don’t think this is malicious but probably something is triggering it. worth keeping an eye on.

Rest of my team had the bug / exploit but not me
This happend to my team twice, once i was the only player left and the other time i was kicked but 1 other guy was left. about 30 secs before someone starts lagging and dc.
Happened here too, my teammates and I exclusively had more crashes in one match than in my 500+ hours of comps combined previously. It seems targeted to me, as only our teams players experienced constant crashes. I went through and counted 15 friendly crashes across 7 minutes, with 0 enemy crashes. Seems like an exploit to me. No error logs were available in the game files afterwards either. Replay: GE7087
Yesterday again. I tried to queue up with a friend to get him silver border and my OW crashed 5 times in a row. Had to restart my PC

Same to me, it’s the new cheat. I get at least one match like this every night I play. BLIZZARD PLEASE ADDRESS THIS. My friend found a file that gets created on the player’s computer when you crash. This file allows access to memory. You have MAJOR security issues. Stop plugging OW2 whilst you have insanely bad security issues.
