Framerate capped only when character is alive

As you can see in the clip below, my framerate is capped around 60fps when I’m alive, but as soon as I die (or spectate others), it more than doubles. I’ve tried vsync on and off, I’ve tried fullscreen and borderless windowed. I’ve tried playing with the framerate limit setting. In this clip it’s set to “display based” and my monitor is running at 165hz. You can see that when I die, my framerate jumps to around the refresh rate of my monitor.

UPDATE: uninstalling razer synapse fixed it

I had the same issue as well, I fixed it by disabling the overwatch rgb integration through chroma connect on the connect tab in synapse. You don’t have to uninstall synapse to fix it :slight_smile:
